SOURCENEXT to Begin Providing "Talking Clock" to NTT DOCOMO’s "SugoToku Contents"
(Tokyo, Japan –March 17, 2015) SOURCENEXT Corporation announced today that the app, "Talking Clock" has been accepted for provision through DOCOMO’s "SugoToku Contents" –a monthly subscription based app downloading service operated by NTT DOCOMO, INC. (Code: 9437, 1st Section of Tokyo Stock Exchange;henceforth referred to as "NTT DOCOMO").
1. Details of Announcement
SOURCENEXT, which began focusing on development / marketing of Android applications early off in September 2011, started providing apps to the "SugoToku Contents" service (by NTT DOCOMO) from May of 2013.
Starting from March 17, 2015, SOURCENEXT will begin providing "Talking Clock" to this service, which makes this 14 apps to be accepted to the service. SOURCENEXT strongly believe that the new introduction of this app will attract even more new users to the service and will help to expand the overall market size.
2. Product Overview
"Talking Clock"
The "Talking Clock" is an alarm app for Android smartphones which uses clearly pronounced, natural voices to speak out the current time or the time remaining on the timer. It also allows users to record / play their own individual messages, so that they can create unique, one-and-only messages for various uses such as business, sports, cooking, etc.
The "SugoToku Contents" is a monthly subscription-based app downloading service provided by NTT DOCOMO. Along with the newly added "Talking Clock", SOURCENEXT currently provide 14 apps to the service.
