Awarded the "Product of the Year 2014" by AV-Comparatives

(Tokyo, Japan –February 9, 2015) SOURCENEXT Corporation announced today that "Bitdefender Internet Security" –which uses the same antivirus engine to power the security software "Super Security ZERO" –has been awarded the prestigious "Product of the Year 2014" award from the international non-profit third party testing institute, "AV-Comparatives". Details of the announcements as below.

Details of Results and Awards Won:

Bitdefender’s product received an "Advanced+" (highest rating) in 8 of the main test series run to evaluate the antivirus engine for Windows-based systems in 2014, and as the overall result of these test results, was awarded the "Product of the Year 2014" –making this the second time that they have been presented with this honorable award (since being awarded the same back in 2012).

In addition to the "Product of the Year", Bitdefender was also awarded the GOLD Award (award presented to the highest-scoring products) in 4 of 6 test categories.
