Announcement of Business Alliance with Unidocs Inc.

SOURCENEXT Corp. announced today that they have agreed to form a business alliance with　Unidocs Inc. and have officially signed a contract with them, as of August 19, 2013. Details of the

alliance, as described below;

 

1. Background of Business Alliance

Unidocs is known for their popular PDF reader application for Android, "ezPDF Reader", which

has been awarded the "Best App" award by Google in 2012. Through the synergies created from

Unidocs’ powerful products and with the planning / developing / marketing strengths that

SOURCENEXT holds in the Japanese software industry, the companies aim to continue

expanding on their collaborative efforts in the coming future.

 

2. Objective of Business Alliance

First objective for SOURCENEXT is to launch Unidocs Inc.’s "ezPDF Reader" in the Japanese

region.

 

3. Unidocs Inc. – Corporate Summary

Unidocs Inc. with its head office in Korea is a company which provides sophisticated digital document solutions to various sectors such as governmental agencies, the educational sector and also to the financial industry. The flagship product, "ezPDF Reader" has continued to show strong sales ever since its release, and was even selected as "Best App" by Google in 2012.

4. Future Forecasts

SOURCENEXT Corp. first plan on releasing the "ezPDF Reader" to the Japanese market

through this business alliance, and although profit-wise, the financial impact of this alliance may

still be minimal for this fiscal year (ending March 2014), they expect that it will contribute greatly

to sales in the next fiscal year (April 2014 to March 2015).
