SOURCENEXT Corporation (Headquarters: Toranomon 33 Mori Building 6F, 3-8-21, Toranomon, Minato-ku Tokyo;CEO and President: Noriyuki Matsuda) announced today the release of the remote desktop service, "Splashtop Premium 1-year version" in the Japanese region. The download version goes on sale on November 6, 2013, and the packaged version is scheduled to go on sale December 13, 2013 at a retail price of 2,990 Yen (tax not included). Along with 1-year version, the 3-year version of the product also goes on sale November 6th 2013 at 5,980 yen (tax not included).

[About Splashtop Premium]
"Splashtop" is a remote desktop service which allows users to access their computers (Windows / Mac) from various devices and platforms such as iOS / Android devices and other Windows / Mac based computers. Even if you are away from home, you can use Splashtop to freely access your PC at home, regardless of what device or platform you are on.
The unique User Interface is designed with complete compatibility for mobile devices, and allows any PC application to be easily operated on, even from mobile devices having small displays. You can use "Splashtop" to control PC applications (which normally would only run on PC) from tablet devices, play online games or even use Microsoft Office on your mobile device.
The "Splashtop Premium" comes with all the functionalities provided for in "Splashtop Personal" plus optional add-ons which help to enhance productivity when accessing your PC (Windows / Mac) from a mobile platform.

Remote Access through 2 Simple Steps
In order to connect to a PC via remote, all that users need to do is carry out 2 very simple steps –launch the "Splashtop Personal" application on their device, and tap on the PC to remotely connect to. If the hardware with which to connect to supports "Wake-on-LAN", you can even leave the PC turned OFF and turn it ON whenever attempting to connect to it via remote. No more worries about being unable to connect to a PC due to the power being turned off.
* In order to allow remote connection, users must first install the free software "Streamer" (provided by Splashtop), in the PC and have it logged in to the Splashtop account.
* Up to 5 PC’s can be registered to a single Splashtop Account (PC’s can be added or removed at anytime).

With Splashtop, you can set up special shortcuts which allow you to carry out specific operations with a touch of a button. No need to hassle over small buttons on the device UI –simply set up the soft keys for the most used operations and you’re good to go. |

Tap on the keyboard button at the bottom left corner of the screen to bring up the large and easy-to-use software keyboard. Even if you are connecting to a Windows PC from an iOS device, keys such as the Windows key and the Function keys are displayed –allowing you all the same functionality / accessibility of a Windows keyboard. |

Communicate More Freely, using the "Annotation" Feature

By using the " Annotation " feature, users can leave notes or comments on the PC which they are remoting on and also leave screenshots. Screenshots taken using this feature are saved directly on the Desktops of the PC that they are remotely connected to. Need to carry out maintenance on your parents’ PC back home? Now you can carry out everything via remote and leave notes about the operations carried out, using the "Annotation" feature. |
